Canonet QL 25



Received a Canon Canonet QL 25 from my uncle when he moved his house, delighted to see such a old and well protected camera! decided to stripped it right away! see pictures below.

Short introduction on the camera:
The Canonet QL range was introduced by Canon in March 1965, as a development of the Canonet. They are 35mm rangefinder cameras with shutter priority CdS-meter controlled auto exposure and manual override. Each is fitted with the Canon QL quick film loading system.

After opening camera back, film leader is aligned at mark then advanced to first frame with Quick Loading (QL) system. Advances with camera-top lever. (120° single stroke)
Frame CounterCounts up. Resets automatically when camera back is opened.

So i decided to striped open the camera since the viewfinder is blurred, a fun process to strip open and see how precise  the camera was. 

It was great to collect such a vintage camera which is 40 years old!!
